At SVP Seattle, we know that philanthropy is more than writing a check — it’s about living our values, learning alongside others, and moving resources in ways that create lasting change.
That’s why we’re launching the Purposeful Philanthropy Cohort this fall: a space for Partners to deepen their giving practice while building community with one another.
In this small, four-session experience, you’ll have the chance to:
- Reflect on your values and what drives your giving.
- Learn directly from nonprofit leaders about the challenges organizations face today.
- Explore how to align your philanthropy with equity and impact.
- Create a purposeful giving plan to guide your next steps.
- Make a giving commitment — individually, and together as a group.
Why Join?
This isn’t just another workshop. It’s a journey — one that blends personal reflection, peer learning, and nonprofit voices. You’ll leave with clarity, connection, and a plan you can put into action right away.
How It Works
- Timeline: October–December 2025
- Sessions: Four 90-minute gatherings (first in person, three virtual). We’ll schedule based on your availability.
- Facilitation: Led by SVP’s Executive Director, with guest speakers from the community.
- Giving: There’s no fee and no minimum gift. Together, the group will set a goal to move $10,000+ collectively, through individual and optional pooled giving.
Who It’s For
This cohort is for SVP Partners ready to focus on their “treasure” — the financial side of their philanthropy — and explore how to move resources with intention. Space is limited to just 6–8 participants to keep it meaningful and connected.
Ready to Join?
Complete this interest form by October 31st. We’ll follow up to confirm your spot.
Come curious. Come ready to connect. And come ready to shape a giving practice that reflects your values and helps fuel community-led change.
