Social Venture Partners Seattle is sharing details about an important community event hosted by the Refugee Artisan Initiative — A First Stitch Reception: An Evening of Threads and Hope. This event brings together supporters, community members, and partners to celebrate the work of RAI and raise support for programs that help refugee and immigrant women build economic opportunity through artisan skills and entrepreneurship.
This reception is a community-centered fundraiser supporting Refugee Artisan Initiative’s mission to partner with refugee and immigrant women as they gain skills, earn income, and create sustainable livelihoods through handcrafted products made from upcycled materials.
