SPIN: Young Entrepreneur Project

April 26 @ 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm

Please join SVP Seattle and our newest grantee, STEM Paths Innovation Network (SPIN), for a lunchtime networking event supporting young entrepreneurs of color.

The Young Entrepreneur Project (YEP) supports young entrepreneurs to plant, grow, invest, and receive the fruits of their business ventures. YEP supports students of color to manifest STEM businesses by learning skills and doing hands-on training. YEP students are prepared not only with the entrepreneurial and STEM skills to succeed, but also with tools to overcome the social emotional challenges of becoming young, successful entrepreneurs. In its inaugural year at Cleveland High School, the program currently has 16 students registered with a weekly 80% attendance rate during the weekly workshops.

After working on their business ideas since the fall, the YEP students are excited to pitch them to you!
