Brenton Huang

Board Member

Brenton has built his career helping small businesses and entrepreneurs succeed. After immigrating to the U.S. at a young age, he watched his parents persevere in building their own ventures from scratch — a journey that shaped his own career path. He has held senior leadership roles in e-commerce, marketing, and operations at various Fortune 100 companies, helping build products and services to empower small businesses worldwide.

Growing up in the Philly area, Brenton studied at the University of Michigan and spent time in Minneapolis before moving to Seattle in 2013. He joined SVP Seattle as a Partner in 2022, serving on grantmaking cohorts before joining the Resource Development Committee and the SVP Board. In addition to his work with SVP, he helps lead TEDx Seattle as co-Chief Marketing Officer and serves on the Board of his neighborhood community council.

Brenton lives in Northeast Seattle with his wife, their son, and their miniature golden retriever. In his free time, he enjoys chasing soccer balls with his son, exploring the outdoors (mostly hiking, camping, skiing), and planning their next travel destination — where the 7 year old holds the strongest vote.
