Brad Brickman

SVP Partner

I am returning to work on my core beliefs from a 40-year career in new ventures & startups. I believe a vibrant economy can only be sustained with equitable social systems and enterprise for people from all walks of life. I aspire to increase investment in education, good jobs, and social systems that create healthful outcomes for all communities but in particular for women, people of color, and those who have been historically marginalized.

I became a member of Social Venture Partners in 2011 and have worked on grant committees and as lead partner for Community in Schools – Washington. I was part of the 2nd cohort of SVP Conservation Philanthropy Fellows and I serve as the Co-Chair of the Environment Collective Action Team. I recently completed a project with Executive Director of the Seattle Parks Foundation that supports new outreach to serve disadvantaged and underserved neighborhoods.

In 2014 I transitioned from Constellation Software, Inc which acquired Ownership Guide by BuildSERV in 2008 and I stayed on as Vice President of BuildSERV and led strategic ERP account management. I received a B.A. degree from Denison University in Granville, Ohio majoring in Economics and Biology. After Denison, I served in the United States Peace Corps in El Salvador, CA.

Whenever possible I am outdoors to bike, hike, ski and paddle to explore and experience the amazing living system and resources that make our planet. I fortunate to live with my lifelong partner Susan and our three children who are now living outside our home.
