Story Spotlight
Poverty and Wealth Inequality Learning Series
In the fall of 2023, SVP Seattle hosted the Poverty and Wealth Inequality Learning Series, showcasing its commitment to addressing economic disparities. Featuring experts like Anne E. Price, Senator Noel Frame, and Dr. Stephan Blanford, the series delved into the systemic roots of inequality and provided actionable strategies for change. Over four sessions, participants engaged in discussions and collaborative learning on how they could collectively advocate for equitable solutions. This series prepared SVP Seattle to take action on wealth equity by supporting policies for economic justice and joining non-profits’ advocacy efforts to eliminate poverty.
