Whiteness of Wealth Book Event

Please join us on Monday, May 16 from 12-1 PM for an exclusive online event with Dorothy A. Brown, author of the 2021 book, The Whiteness of Wealth: How the Tax System Impoverishes Black Americans – And How We Can Fix it. She will share her research and insights on what sustains and deepens the wealth gap between Black and white Americans, including inequalities embedded in US tax policy and the accumulation of both wealth and debt.
This conversation will be moderated by Progress Alliance Executive Director, Dionne Foster, we are co-sponsors of this event as well as the Washington Women’s Foundation. We’ll also have time for Q&A with the audience and Dorothy Brown.
