Brown\, author of the 2021 book\, The Whiteness of Wealth: How the Tax System Impoverishes Black Americans – And How We Can Fix it. She will share her research and insights on what sustains and deepens the wealth gap between Black and white Americans\, including inequalities embedded in US tax policy and the accumulation of both wealth and debt. \nThis conversation will be moderated by Progress Alliance Executive Director\, Dionne Foster\, we are co-sponsors of this event as well as the Washington Women’s Foundation.
