GO FROM CARING TO ACTING: Advocating for Progressive State Laws
October 28, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Join this informal and informative workshop to understand how to use your voice to advocate for progressive Washington State laws. Learn how to work on supporting the passing of a new law or changing an established one. Walk away with resources to engage in individual advocacy work and/or engage in SVP’s partner organizations’ advocacy efforts.
Democracy is messy, systemic change is hard, and issues feel overwhelming. It is hard to know where and how to have an impact. Fortunately, you can!
This is a virtual event. Please have a laptop or smartphone handy, this is a hands-on workshop where you will conduct real-time searches.
