Marja Koopmans

Marja is the Director of the Alexa Enterprise organization, responsible for extending Alexa’s capabilities and services to partners, delighting customers with more ways to use Alexa in their daily lives. Marja joined Amazon in 2016 and prior to her current role, she led the Amazon Smart Home business, helping customer to enjoy a more convenient, safe and economical home. She has an extensive track record in tech marketing, building products and leading teams that deliver strong business results. Marja previously worked at Microsoft and Philips as senior executive. She started her career in private equity and consulting in Europe and London, UK. Outside of work she spends her time with her family, often in the outdoors – running, skiing, hiking, biking or others modes of conveyance. You will also find her preparing the PNW bounty to be enjoyed with friends. She’s inseparable from her black lab Fitz(gerald), at times much to the chagrin of her husband.
