As we reflect on the past year, one thing is clear: transformation happens when we move together.

In 2024, SVP Seattle deepened its commitment to community-led change. With the support of our Partners, nonprofit collaborators, and allies, we pushed forward bold experiments in grantmaking, corporate engagement, and advocacy that reimagined how philanthropy can show up for justice.

Today, we’re proud to share our 2024 Community Report, which captures the milestones, stories, and voices that defined the year.

Highlights from 2024

Here’s a glimpse of what we accomplished together:

  • Launched the Climate Justice Grantmaking Collaborative, a cohort-based experiment in shifting power to grassroots leadership and building trust-based funding models.
  • Expanded our Amazon Fellows Program, pairing employees with nonprofits like Refugee Artisan Initiative for deep, hands-on engagement.
  • Provided capacity-building support to 12 BIPOC-led nonprofits, spanning education, environmental justice, public health, and more.
  • Engaged over 200 people in community learning events, including our Poverty & Wealth Equity Series and statewide advocacy campaigns.
  • Set ambitious goals for 2024–2027:
    • Double our Partner base
    • Increase grantee support by 200%
    • Expand volunteer engagement by 400%

This isn’t just about funding projects—it’s about building relationships and sharing leadership. That’s how we create real change.
