Communities In Schools of Greater King County (CISGKC) is a social justice organization, we provide resources and supports for students who have historically been the furthest from educational justice addressing inequalities prevalent in our educational system.
About the Opportunity:
CISGKC is hosting their annual Back-to-School Block Party and needs volunteers to help pack with:
- Help pack elementary and secondary school supply kits that will be given away at the Block Party. This is usually done a week or two before the event.
- Help with either set-up, help hand out supplies during the event (there are other opportunities too during the event) and/or taking down of the block party.
What CISGKC is Looking for:
Friendly, organized individuals who enjoy community events and working with youth. This is a great opportunity for groups or families to volunteer together.
Project Details:
📍 Location: On-site – Renton, WA
🕒 Date & Estimated Hours: August 17, 2025 (single-day event), varies depending on duty
👥 Volunteers Needed: 15–20
