Mr. Alozie brings over 10 years of experience working with startups, from their inception to seed/Series A stages. Prior to joining Transpose Platform VC, a fund of funds and venture capital firm, as a Director, he served as the Director of Marketing and Partnerships at IntuitiveX. This medical incubator and accelerator launched 3 FDA-designated Breakthrough Devices. He also held the position of Director at the Founder Institute, where he supported the launch of Seattle and Western Canada pre-seed startups. Currently, he is an Entrepreneur-In-Residence and Venture Advisor at 360 Social Impact Studios, a non-profit incubator dedicated to supporting underrepresented founders, and an Advisor to Loyal VC. Previously, he undertook sales and marketing roles at Techstars and assisted VCs and Angel Syndicates in investing in emerging pre-seed and seed-stage startups. He also serves as a mentor at UW CoMotion, gener8tor, and Techstars. He has spoken on entrepreneurship and startups at the University of Washington Foster Building and Startup Hall, and he is a member of ForbesBLK and BLCK VC, which are global communities of Black entrepreneurs and venture investors and a member of UNICEF NextGEN and Seattle Children’s NextGen, each focused on supporting innovations and advocacy for children. He is passionate about social impact and economic development.
Before venturing into the startup ecosystem, Emeka gained experience in consulting, marketing, finance, and business development. He worked for early-stage startups and Fortune 50 companies, including BNP Paribas. As a marketer and business developer, he supported the launch of several emerging companies, such as Social Chain, Intellectual Ventures spinout Xinova, and a stealth-stage incubator for emerging technologies. He earned his BBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
