Dave has been an SVP partner since 2011, joining shortly after retiring from a professional career in the computer and software industry, most recently in executive management leading product teams at Microsoft. At SVP, Dave has served as a Fast Pitch coach, as the Lead Partner for Sound Discipline and on the SVP board.
Dave has a passion for community, equity, and opportunity for all, especially children. In addition to SVP, he serves on and currently chairs the Sound Discipline board. Sound Discipline partners with educators, organizations, and families to transform schools into equitable learning communities.
He has also served on the boards of two local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and in advisory roles for organizations including TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools), 501 Commons, and at the Electrical and Computer Engineering School at Cornell University, his alma mater, where he earned BS and MEng degrees in Electrical Engineering.
Dave loves the mountains and the water of the great Pacific Northwest where enjoys cycling, skiing, hiking, kayaking and boating.
