Chandler Lewis (he/him) is the Director of Equity and Inclusion for The Cross Cultural Health Care Program. He brings over 12 years of experience in childhood and adult education, social innovation start-ups, non-profit management, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and management consulting. He has a history of working with organizations and institutions that serve under-represented communities, specifically on homelessness, addiction, and mental health. He continues to be a leader in the community through his involvement as the Executive Board President for Circle of Friends for Mental Health, a 501(c)3 non-profit providing therapeutic arts-based programming throughout the Puget Sound region in Washington, and as a Trustee for the UW-based Foundation for Understanding through Students (FIUTS). He has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Washington and a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership from Johns Hopkins University.
Chandler also works extensively with the Pacific Northwest entrepreneurial ecosystem and has worked as an Adjunct Instructor for the UW CoMotion/National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Site Program. He is committed to supporting the community and proudly serving as an Executive Mentor and Advisor for several notable programs in the region, including The Tombolo Institute at Bellevue College, WSU, and SP3NW’s Flexible Infrastructure for Resilient Entrepreneurship (FIRE) Program, UW CoMotion Labs, UW School of Nursing, UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, and the Master of Science in Entrepreneurship Program at the Foster School of Business.
