Asia grew up in extreme poverty, is a first-generation high school graduate from Stevenson, WA, and received a B.A. in Psychology from Linfield and an MBA in Nonprofit Management from the University of Portland in 2014.
In 2021, Asia was recognized as one of Portland Business Journal’s 40 under 40 and was selected as a participant in Portland Business Alliance’s Leadership class of 2023. Asia currently serves as the Executive Director of Playworks PACNW. Playworks PACNW provides services to children across a four-state region (WA, OR, ID, AK). Her role blends a love of sports and activities with her values of inspiring hope. She supports the creation of positive environments in which youth thrive and her role allows her to be a part of an organization whose mission increases the overall health and well-being of our community.
Asia’s motto is: live with intention, have integrity, choose compassion, and inspire hope. She resides in Vancouver, WA with her wife and young daughter.
