Participants will advocate for policies focused on gun violence prevention\, mental health support\, and civic engagement. \nYouth will receive 12 hours of community service\, transportation options\, and meals throughout the day. As Executive Director of the General Service Foundation (2015–2022)\, she aligned the foundation’s grantmaking\, investments\, and governance with justice values. She was the founding director of the Rise Together Fund\, a donor collaborative at the Proteus Fund\, and previously led the Center for Social Justice at UC Berkeley School of Law. \nA National Center for Family Philanthropy Fellow\, Dimple’s leadership has been recognized with a Scrivener Award for Creative Grantmaking. DESCRIPTION:The world feels heavy right now. But when we practice reciprocity—sharing our needs and resources—we realize just how rich we really are. SVP is hosting a series of Reciprocity Rings for the SVP community\, facilitated by Dr. Julie Pham\, where we’ll connect\, practice vulnerability\, and strengthen our community. People are invited to make Asks and Offers related to Time\, Treasure\, Talent\, and Ties.  \nThis is a safe place for you to make “asks” like: “I need a place for a solo writing retreat in the Seattle area for a few nights next summer\,” “A referral for an experienced cat-sitter\,” and “Feedback on my nonprofit’s strategic plan this winter.”  \nIf you’re not sure of what you can offer\, here are some examples: “Advice on accounting for non-profits\,” “Tips on how to organize your Email inbox\,” and “recommendations on traditional Korean restaurants in Seattle.” \nWhat to Expect at Each Session\n\nNetworking and connection with the SVP community\nA skill-building exercise\nWriting and sharing your Asks & Offers\n\nSession Dates (5:30–7 pm)\n\nOct. 30\, 2025 (Thurs): How to recognize obstacles to asking for help \nFeb. 10\, 2026 (Tues): How to make a SMART ask\nApril 29\, 2026 (Wed): How to say “no” with a counteroffer\n\n					\n									Register for Session Two\n					 \nEach session is limited to 25 participants.  \nThe Reciprocity Ring is an exercise developed by sociologist Dr. Wayne Baker and Cheryl Baker.
