His book provides a compelling look at the past and its broad implications for present-day calls for racial equity\, justice\, and the abolishment of systemic racism. \nThis group will meet online four times total\, February 23\, March 21\, April 18\, and May 2 from 12:00-1:00 PM. \n\nMarch 21: Please read chapters 5 through 8\nApril 18: Please read chapters 9 though 12\nMay 2: Please read chapters 13 through 16 and the Afterword\n\nEveryone is welcome to join the book club regardless of whether they have been able to read the assigned content. \nAfter the book club\, we invite you to join our online event with author Clyde W.
