SUMMARY:Storytelling for Change: A Creative Gathering for Climate Resilience
DESCRIPTION:As the days are beginning to grow longer\, we gather to share the stories that sustain us. Stories of Change: A Creative Gathering for Climate Resilience is a free community storytelling event exploring how we build resilience together\, in the face of climate change. \nJoin Basilica Bio and featured speaker Eileen Lambert\, a Latine climate storyteller and communications strategist\, for an evening of reflection\, creativity\, and connection. Then\, we will all assemble a chapbook together! Each attendee will receive a copy of the community chapbook\, as well as some essential climate resilience resources! \nHere’s what the night will look like:\n🌾 A talk by Eileen Lambert on storytelling and climate resilience\n🌀 A participatory creative session\, where participants build a page-long story of climate resilience\n📖 An assembly session\, where everyone’s story will come together as a community chapbook!\n🌍 A reflection on how storytelling creates climate resilience \nWhen: January 24th\, 2026.\nWhere: Seattle Recreative Georgetown\nAccessibility: Light refreshments and snacks provided.
