Amy is a recovering attorney with a wide range of work experiences\, including working in an urban school district\, the mortgage finance industry\, law firms\, a Presidential campaign\, and a statewide education advocacy organization. She is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan with both her undergraduate and law degrees. DESCRIPTION:Is your little one interested in being part of Look\, Listen + Learn? Sign up for auditions!\nAuditions will be held Saturday\, May 6th\, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at John Stanford Center in SODO. Each audition is roughly 15 minutes long. \nConsistent with our mission\, LL+L TV seeks to include diverse children and families in our productions. \nChildren must be 6-9 years old to audition. No prior acting experience is required. \nPreference will be given to Black\, Indigenous\, and other children of color. The criteria we use to identify children to feature on our show include: \n\nDevelopmentally appropriate social-emotional skills and behaviors\nAbility to focus attention for a short period of time\nWillingness to interact and positively respond to questions or instruction\nBasic English-language speaking skills\nSome familiarity with Look\, Listen and Learn\n\nSign-up here.  \nAuditions are limited and will be filled on a first-come\, first-serve basis. DESCRIPTION:Please join SVP Seattle and our newest grantee\, STEM Paths Innovation Network (SPIN)\, for a lunchtime networking event supporting young entrepreneurs of color. \nThe Young Entrepreneur Project (YEP) supports young entrepreneurs to plant\, grow\, invest\, and receive the fruits of their business ventures. YEP supports students of color to manifest STEM businesses by learning skills and doing hands-on training. YEP students are prepared not only with the entrepreneurial and STEM skills to succeed\, but also with tools to overcome the social emotional challenges of becoming young\, successful entrepreneurs. In its inaugural year at Cleveland High School\, the program currently has 16 students registered with a weekly 80% attendance rate during the weekly workshops. \nAfter working on their business ideas since the fall\, the YEP students are excited to pitch them to you! \n\nWhen: April 26th\, 2023\, 12:15-1:30 p.m.\n\nWhere: 5511 15th Ave S\, Seattle\, WA 98108\, Cleveland High School\, Seattle\, WA\n\nWhat: Networking event where students will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with up to three professionals and pitch their business ideas and logos. Weller St.\, 98104\nWho:    SVP Partners and friends (must be 16 years of age or older)\nWhen: April 11th from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.\, optional lunch afterwards\n\n\n\nWe only have 3-5 slots\, so RSVP now! We also hope to build community with each other as we work side by side. \nWhat will we be doing at ACRS? \n\n\n\nPrepping grocery bags for delivery\nAssembling and packaging food\nLoading and unloading food into delivery vehicles\nSupporting with organization and light cleaning within the facility\n\n\n\nACRS asks that all volunteers are fully vaccinated and complete a COVID-19 Vaccine Attestation. \nWhere will you go for lunch? \nDepending on the size of the group\, we will make a reservation a locally-owned restaurant that is located within walking distance of the Food Bank.
