DESCRIPTION:Please join SVP Seattle\, in partnership with Progress Alliance and the Washington Women’s Foundation\, on Wednesday\, May 10\, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm for an exclusive online event with Clyde W. Ford\, author of the 2022 book\, Of Blood And Sweat: Black Lives And The Making Of White Power And Wealth. His book provides a compelling look at the past and its broad implications for present-day calls for racial equity\, justice\, and the abolishment of systemic racism.  \nThis conversation will be moderated by SVP Seattle Executive Director\, Emiko Atherton. We’ll also have time for a Q&A with the audience and Mr. Ford.  \n \nSVP is hosting an informal watch party in person at the Cloud Room on Capitol Hill. Join a small group of staff and Partners to watch the Clyde W. Ford author event together.
